Hey Hens! I’m heading out of town to celebrate my baby chicks 20th birthday 🎉! But worry not, #theehenhousebookstore will be open regular hours and is in good hands with my mother clucking friends! 🐓🙌😃 Come by and say, “hey” to @christyrosenclement , @deedeegram5 , @cth0mps0n , @shannons2222 Thursday-Friday 10-4, Saturday 10-6 #usedbooks #southtampa #tampabookstore #cluckingaround
Hey Hens! My team of cluckers came through and shelved so many awesome books, just in time for a new week! I’ll be out of town to celebrate my little chicks 20th birthday 🤩 but my team of cluckers will be around to take care of you at #theehenhousebookstore. Come by and say hey. #usedbooks #southtampa #tampabookstore #cluckaround
Hey Hens! This Saturday, over 300 book loving friends came out in the drizzle to have a cuppa coffee and support my quirky little used bookstore! Thank you to THEE @christyrosenclement for sponsoring the delish coffee by @remaincoffee . Thank you @lily.frierson and @deedeegram5 for your assistance and help and @abshein_34 for passing out the mini hens! We are so happy to be here and as Sally Field once said so eloquently, “You like me, you really really like me!” Thank you for showing up, donating, trading, and buying used books! Thank you! Hope to see everyone again at #theehenhousebookstore (CONGRATULATIONS to our raffle prize winners who have been notified via phone and text.) #usedbooks #southtampa #tampabookstore #cluckingaround
Hey Hens! I am renaming this painting - “Exhausted bookseller after a FUNomenal Grand Opening Day!” Thank you Tampa for showing up today and supporting #theehenhousebookstore. Stay tuned for raffle winner announcement tomorrow! #usedbooks #southtampa #tampabookstore #cluckingaround
Hey Hens! We are ready for tomorrow’s grand opening celebration! In the nick of time, I finished Henrietta - a giant emotional support chicken to raffle off tmrw. We blew up so many chicken balloons, arranged two raffle book-quets, and shelved two boxes of middle school graphic novels and of course, lots of books! Remember, free coffee from 10-12 sponsored by @christyrosenclement . First 20 to purchase books get a free Henny tote. And enter to win raffle prizes all day (1 ticket for coming by, 1 ticket for donating books, and 1 ticket for every book you buy). See you at #theehenhousebookstore (ps- overflow parking available at 3605 and 3607 west azeele street) #usedbooks #southtampa #tampabookstore #cluckingaround
Hey hens! Our favorite gift boutique - Hazel and Dot sent over a gift bag of goodies for our raffle - candle, gift card, bookmarks, stickers and more. Stop by on Saturday for a chance to win the Hazel and Dot goody bag! They are just around the corner from us and have been voted a much deserved best gift shop for 7 years in a row! And, this Saturday, Hazel and Dot is turning into Stars Hollow!! So, your Saturday schedule is pretty clear - come to Thee Hen House and then head over to Stars Hollow (erm, Hazel and Dot) for a perfect day - ☕️ 🍂 📚 See you at #theehenhousebookstore #usedbooks #southtampa #tampabookstore #starshollow
Hey Hens! Trick and Treat is more fun with this funky whimsical door sign by our favorite sign maker - @twoswingsstudio! We absolutely love this giant purple polka dotted orange pumpkin with a perfectly perfect bow. Stop by on Saturday for a chance to take this pumpkin home just in time for Halloween 🎃! See you at #theehenhousebookstore #usedbooks #southtampa #tampabookstore #cluckaround
Hey Hens! Many moons ago, @katiewhiteartist was my son’s elementary school art teacher… She planted a seed and now he’s an art history, museum sciences grad student. She continues to inspire us all to pause, take a breath, and create art and appreciate moments of life. We are so grateful to Katie for donating this lovely original watercolor for our grand opening. (Katie is also a co-founder of the @freelittleartgallery_tampa that resides in front of the bookstore.) Stop by on Saturday for a chance to win this original watercolor for your home. See you at #theehenhousebookstore 💜 🐓📚🧶 🖼️ Tien
